How ROSTR FZ-LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data on the ROSTR platform.

1. Who we are
ROSTR FZ-LLC ("ROSTR", "we", "us") of Unit 1904, HDS Business Centre, Cluster M, JLT, Dubai, UAE is the data controller of personal data processed through rostr-platform.lovable.app and related services. Contact our privacy team at privacy@rostr-platform.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password hash, role (client / MC).
- Profile data (MCs): bio, photos, video, languages, event types, pricing, trade licence, insurance, ID verification.
- Booking data: events, packages, messages, contracts, NDAs, riders.
- Payment data: processed by our payment partner; we store reference IDs only.
- Usage data: device, IP, pages viewed, search queries, performance and error logs.
3. How we use it
To provide the Platform, verify MCs, process bookings and payouts, prevent fraud, comply with law, and improve the service. We rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation as our legal bases.
4. Sharing
We share data with the counterparty to a booking, our payment processor, identity-verification provider, hosting and email providers, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Data may be processed in the United Arab Emirates, the European Economic Area, and the United States by our hosting, email, and payment providers, using safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where applicable.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards to meet tax, audit, and dispute obligations.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Use your account settings or email privacy@rostr-platform.com. UAE users may complain to the UAE Data Office; EEA users may complain to their local supervisory authority.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, role-based access, audit logging, and least-privilege database policies. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected incidents to security@rostr-platform.com.
9. Children
ROSTR is not intended for children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We will notify material changes by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
